Great minds think poodle

Linda Rodin has always been on of my favorite stylists. From the beautiful buxom bare babes of victoria secrets to supermodels Laetitia Casta, Giselle Bundchen, and Helene Christensen. And to her love of the four legged love machines we call dogs. I think I fell into a deeper obsession with her when I discovered adorable Minky is her best friend and poodle. Now I was already pretty in love with her, mostly because I would love to be so fortunate to age so gracefully and beautifully. She is gorgeous, who wouldn't want to look like her. I also have been saving my pennies to get a hold of her magical face oil. A near-magical blend of essential oils, starting with a body oil, then a hair oil (that is a collaboration with the renowned hair stylist Bob Recine), and most recently a lip balm. You can find all the products that you may or may not want to gift me for Christmas, here.

poodles and scooters

I just visited the automotive museum last week and fell in love with the scooter exhibit. scooters are so romantic and classic and provide a sense of freedom that would normally be smothered away in the box shape of a car. I think everyone ought to start considering alternate means of transport. Appreciation of the present is possible in every moment of life. And certainly even more-so when a poodle is sitting in our basket. now i'm in the mood for a bike ride :)

Shop-poodlin

I have always fancied myself as a purchaser of unique and weird things, especially at a good price. Not until recently have I been on the search for unique poodle pieces. A couple of months ago I was wandering around the "random trinkets" section of Ross and amongst the paper towel holders and welcome home key hanging signs, a gigantic bright blue poodle was staring at me right in the face. Even better was his attractive price tag of $9.99. Get outta town with that dealness!

Well my good poodle fortune did not stop there! This Saturday I had spent the day thumbing through stacks of boots and over priced "vintage" wear at the fea market. And I just want to point out, I did find an ADORABLE dress that was apparently SO Vintage that it was $125.00. I was so taken back at the strings of "worn out been around the block" dangling from the neckline. As soon as I second guessed the dress, the woman instantly cut the price in half! If it wasn't worth the $125.00 to begin with then what makes you think I will purchase it for $70.00?

BUT! For all the frustrations of idiots trying to get things for more than their worth, was an adorable silver lining. On my jaunt back home, window shopping and smacking on my blueberry juice drink my poodle destiny found me! A classic 1960s ceramic poodle with darling pearl earrings!! And the price-tag you might ask? A whopping $12.

A good poodle will always find its way to you :)

Poodle Humor

Last night Phineas, our Poodle, decided he was going to jump onto the couch to get a little love and cuddle time with Mom. However, this poodle is not a very coordinated poodle and manages to stumble wherever he tries to go. Last night was no exception. My clumsy large sized sheep leaped onto our couch. And missed. Face planting onto the couch and slipping onto the floor. The bast part? He tried to play it off! Casually slipping into a laid down front paws crossed position. Glancing up to me with "I meant to do that" eyes.

And now, Poodle humor:
